# Points

Imperial Points reward trading and referrals. **Season 1** has been live since September 20, 2026.

### How points are earned

* Each week has a fixed pool of points: **15,000 for trading** and **5,000 for referrals**.
* Your share of the trading pool comes from your trading volume that week.
* Eligible volume is capped at **250x your average open interest**, so rapid churn without holding positions doesn't earn extra.
* Points are credited in **weekly batches** when each week closes.
